Mission Statement

We must first provide a safe, healthy, and comfortable learning environment for the students and staff. This education environment must be created using prudent and wise investment of educational tax dollars. As utility rates continue to rise we must look for creative methods to control our utility consumption. We must be supportive. All of us must participate in this important on going conservation effort to make our schools energy efficient.

Energy Conservation Update

“Extra Credit” for Regular Energy Audit Reports

Subject: “Extra Credit” for Regular Energy Audit Reports

The following text needs to be forwarded to all School Principals and Asst Principals.

The CCSD Energy Conservation Section is offering a new program for the 2008/2009 school year.

A new POWERPOINT presentation is now available entitled “2009 Energy Conservation for CCSD Employees”. An extra credit program is being offered. After viewing this presentation at your school site the lowest score you receive on your Regular Energy Audit Walk-Through Reports will be replaced with a 100% score. Doing this will help to inform the Faculty and Staff of the CCSD about the policies and criteria of the Energy Conservation Section as well as help the school sites off-set the effect of a low Energy Audit score.

With the cost of energy continually increasing, we must all do our part to help conserve energy and help to save our educational funding.

If you wish to take advantage of this new program please contact Michael R. Dobiesz at 249-5439.
